The Godfather exhibition is part of the museum’s permanent installation of rotating exhibitions, The Art of Moviemaking. The exhibition covers props and costumes, sets, and the making of.

Costumes from the film are displayed close enough to see details in the threads. Concept sketches are also included showing how the clothes looked before coming to life.

Behind-the-scenes photos are mounted on a wall along with stills from the movie.

Limited on props, which includes a taxidermy decapitated horses head, the center of the exhibition has an impressive set up of the desk used in the film.

GRAPHIC CONTENT: Last picture is a prop of a decapitated horse’s head. Very realistic as the prop is taxidermy. Blood is not real.
