Discovery Cube Orange County | June 21 - Sept. 4, 2023

Temporary exhibit opening at the Discovery Cube in Orange County (not to be confused with the Los Angeles location) will feature ocean education! The exhibit is opening just in time for summer along with their new permanent exhibit, Sea Labs.

Ocean Encounter Adventure: Test the Waters will feature inflatables of coral reefs, a kelp forest, a whale, and a squid. The theater space it will be held in is perfect to let the younger guests explore everything being showcased. And to help them get their energy out, there will be an inflatable pirate ship slide.

Along with the fun there will also be educational points throughout the space. Ocean zones and depth are the topics this exhibit will be focusing on. A submersible will be displaying a video simulating going on a dive to the trenches and encountering rare ocean animals of the deep.

Guests will also be able to partake in a scavenger hunt on mobile devices. Their knowledge will be tested and scored to see how much of a friend to the ocean they are.

This exhibit will be a part of general admission. And remember, Discovery Cube Orange County is free to Santa Ana residents on the first Tuesday of every month.
