Exhibition Page

Terry Chatkupt: A Year is a multi-media installed art exhibition focusing on Terry Chatkupt and his children’s experiences during the pandemic’s quarantine year.

Chatkupt and his family explored their local forests in Pasadena in an effort to do something during the lockdown. Walking along the forest his children would collect natures treasures including twigs and leaves.

The exhibition displays Chatkupt’s photographs and footage from his nature walks highlighting nature’s messy beauty.

An appreciation for nature can be felt throughout the exhibit with an audio of Chatkupt’s son, Bhodi, playing in the background talking about the pandemic through his eyes.

The museum has also included an activity section where guests can make art out of clay, twigs, leaves, flowers, etc., echoing the art Chatkupt’s kids made.
